Privacy notice
How BidBite handles your information
Effective September 28, 2026
This notice explains how BidBite handles information. For questions or privacy requests, reply to a BidBite email.
Information we collect
When you start a free trial, we collect your email address, service category, service area, signup source, trial timing, and email preferences. We also collect basic first-party usage events such as page views, button and link clicks, viewed page sections, form starts, approximate session duration, the referring website or campaign source, and a temporary browser-session identifier.
BidBite's visitor traffic measurement is cookie-free. We do not store your IP address or full browser user-agent string in the analytics database. A separate owner-test marker may be stored only when the operator activates test mode so operator activity is not mistaken for customer interest.
How we use it
We use this information to match public contracting opportunities, deliver requested reports and service messages, measure interest in the service, prevent abuse, monitor service reliability, and improve BidBite.
Service providers
Customer accounts use Google Firebase Authentication for email/password sign-in, verification and password reset. Firebase manages your credentials and browser sign-in session; BidBite does not store your password. We store your verified account identifier, email, business name, selected states and services, and briefing consent in our application database. Signing out ends this browser's account session.
BidBite uses service providers for cloud hosting, database storage, email delivery, and operational monitoring. We share only the information reasonably needed for those providers to perform their services. Public opportunity details come from SAM.gov.
Email choices
Every opportunity email includes an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing stops trial opportunity and promotional emails.
Data retention and security
We retain information only while reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with your email address by replying to a BidBite email. We may need to verify that you control the address before completing a request.
Children
BidBite is a business service and is not directed to children under 18.
Changes
We may update this notice as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
